DALLAS - Camellia Banks Smart, 58, of Dallas passed away suddenly April 18, 2012, at North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

She was a native of Gaston County, born Oct. 30, 1953, to the late Oscar and Cleo Banks.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 38 years, Steve, who died Dec. 4, 2011.
She attended Grace Baptist Church and worked at CMC-Lincolnton.
Camellia was a loving grandmother. Her girls, Shelby and Rankin, were the apple of her eye. She loved spending time with her girls and loved being at the beach.
Survivors include her beloved daughters, Chasity S. Watson and husband Rob of Lake Wylie, S.C.; and Brandy N. Smart of Dallas; her granddaughters, Shelby Ann Watson and Rankin Crews Watson; brothers, Randy Banks and wife Debbie of Belmont, Tammy Banks and wife Wanda of Stanley; a sister-in-law, Bobbie S. Potter of Dallas; and a niece, Lynn B. Johnston; and a nephew, Mark Banks.
A Celebration of Life service will be 7 p.m. Monday, April 23 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Pastor Fain Farmer officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7 p.m. Monday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
Inurnment will be at private at Westview Gardens.
