GASTONIA - Charles Edward "Charlie" Watson, 80, of 630 Bethany Road, died May 27,2012, at home.
A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late Grady Watson and Virgie Holland Watson.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity AME Zion Church, Gastonia.
A praise and worship service in memory of Charlie Watson will be 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the church. Quiet hour will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Costner Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.
