Chloe was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 24, 2006, to Jordan K. Arwood and April Diane Hurt.
She was a student at Long Shoals Wesleyan Christian Academy. She was an energetic and joyful child who loved Jesus, loved to sing and being outdoors.
In addition to her parents survivors include her sister, Isabella Skye Arwood; aunt; Brittney Renn and husband Dan of Lincolnton; maternal grandparents, Lou and William Armstrong of Gastonia, Greg and Kathy Hurt of Clover, S.C.; paternal grandparents, Nancy and Ken Caldwell of Stanley; great-grandparents, Earl and Frances Armstrong and great-grandmothers, Rebecca Hurt and Imogene Arwood.
A celebration of life service will be held 4 p.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Church South Campus with the Revs. Dickie Spargo and Dale Lawing of-ficiating.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service.
Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery "A Quiet Place" in Belmont.
Memorial contributions may be made in Chloe's memory to Bethlehem Church, 3100 Bethlehem Church St., Gastonia, NC 28056.
