CHERRYVILLE - Christa Angela Jarrell, 46, of 1319 4th St., Statesville, formerly of Cherryville, died Jan. 1, 2013, at Hospice of
Catawba Valley.
She was born on July 3, 1966, daughter of the late Virginia Jarrell and was formerly employed by Pretty Paper and Lincoln Manufacturing.
In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by a brother Scott Jarrell.
Survivors include her daughter Sierra Jarrell of Lincolnton, daughters Chelsea and Carol Ann of Denver and two sisters Susie Jarrell of Vale and Debbie Canipe of Lincolnton.
A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday at Carpenter's Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating.
Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
