FAIRVIEW - Clara Mae Sayles, 79, passed away Nov. 20, 2012, at the home of her niece Connie Sales Hensley in Clover, where she had lived for the past year because of declining health.
She was born March 8, 1933, in Buncombe County.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Cane Creek Cemetery.
The family is being cared for by Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2916 Union Rd Gastonia, 704 864-5144.
