SHELBY - Danny William Carver, 54, passed away Dec. 10, 2012, at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

He was a native of Gastonia, son of William Perry Carver and the late Betty June Hoffman Carver.

He attended Ashbrook High School where he played basketball. In his former years he enjoyed his job as a welder for Duke Energy and later became a tile mechanic. He loved his children and was a master carp fisherman. His heart belonged to God and no matter what, he was always right!

Survivors include his wife, Frankie Thomas Carver; children, Vann, Jarred, and Annie Carver; Amberly Colston, Keith Faulkenberry and Robin Ilges; brother, Alan Carver; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday at Epic Church, 100 Indian Walk, Lowell, NC 28098.

Burial will be private.

The family encourages everyone to join them for food and fellowship at the service and people can bring a covered dish.

Danny will truly be missed by many.
