GASTONIA - Dianne Russell Tice, 64, died July 9, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 21, 1947, in Gaston County, the daughter of the late Charles Bunyan and Helen Hamilton Russell.
Dianne had previously worked for Central Elementary School in the Cafeteria, but was primarily a homemaker for her children. She was a loving, supportive mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Walter "Bob" Russell and Leroy Charles Russell.
Survivors include her son, Pfc. Charles Richard Tice (US Army) and wife Cyndi of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter, Amy Lee Tice; grandchildren, Charles Alex Benfield, Adriana Lee-Ann Tice, Anthone Kole Tice, Cody Richard Tice, and Camryn David Tice; two nieces and two nephews.
A service to celebrate Dianne's life will be held 6 p.m. Thursday in the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia with Pastor Ron Duncan officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
A private service of committal will be held for the family at Hollywood Cemetery.
