CLOVER, S.C. -- Dorothy W. Lindsay, 96, of 111 Parkview, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012.
Mrs. Lindsay was born Feb. 24, 1916 in Marion, N.C. to the late Wash Holland and Anna Smith Willard. She was a member of Clover Wesleyan Church for over 70 years and a charter member of Temple Baptist Church of Gastonia, NC.
Mrs. Lindsay was the widow of the late William Odell Lindsay Sr. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Glenda Miller; grandson, Judson Lindsay; sister, Shirley Lingerfelt ; and brothers, Andy, Elvin, Howard, Carroll, Coy, and Roy Willard.
She is survived by a daughter, Emily Beamguard, (Charles) of Clover; son, Odell Lindsay, (Glenda) of Clover; six grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at Clover Wesleyan Church, with the Rev. Wayne Spear officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
