GASTONIA - Elizabeth Hoke Gaddis, 97, died Nov. 28, 2012, at the Rehabilitation and Health Care Center of Gastonia.

She was a native of Catawba County, daughter of the late Jennings Brown Hoke and Annie Lee Ola Rosemon Hoke.
Funeral service will be 2p.m. Saturday in the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at McLean Funeral Directors, prior to the service.
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park.
Mrs. Gaddis was a very active member of Loray Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, W.A. Gaddis and wife Diane of Concord, Wayne Gaddis and wife Betty of Gastonia, daughters, Nadine Hawkins and hus-band John of Gastonia, Ann Drum and husband Wayne of Gastonia, sons-in-law, Jim Braddy of Gastonia, Clayton Swink of Charlotte; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Nan Stewart of Newton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Axley Gaddis, daughters, Glenda Braddy, Dorothy Swink, brothers, Horace Hoke, Raymond Hoke and a sister, Eula Jones.
