GASTONIA - Faye Elizabeth Sosebee, 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 24, 2013.

She is the daughter of the late Mack B. and Winnie B. Herring.

Faye was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of forty-four years, Richard Sosebee, Sons, David Sosebee and companion, Amy Hemminger of Clover, Richard Blair Sosebee and wife, Elaine of Irmo, SC, Daryl Sosebee and wife, Lori of Dallas and Gerald Sosebee and wife,
Alana of Gastonia; sister, Gladys Britt and husband Ray Kopitzki of Holden Beach.
Grandchildren, David Sosebee Jr. of New Jersey, Tyler Sosebee of Dallas, Sarah Sosebee of Gastonia and Anthony Sosebee of Irmo, S.C.

Visitation will be 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia.

Celebration of life service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Founders Chapel with the Rev. Joe Lawing officiating.

Entombment will be at Gaston Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family would like to express a special thanks to all her wonderful doctors and to Gaston Memorial Hospital's PICU and 3 South for taking excellent care of their mother.
