GASTONIA - Gail Harbin Holloway, 74, passed away March 4, 2013 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late James and Pauline Higdon Harbin.
She was formerly employed as an executive secretary at Firestone Mills for many years, was a member of Loray Baptist Church; and was a former Noblelette in the Shriners organization.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Charles Edward Holloway; daughter, Sharon Corbett of Huntersville; son, David Corbett of Gastonia.
A service to celebrate her life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Loray Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Kent Cranford and John Bridges.
Burial will follow in Gaston Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ward Funeral Service, 220 South Broad Street.
The family requests that memorials be made to Loray Baptist Church, 1128 West Franklin Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
