GASTONIA - Gayle Fletcher Fleming, 45, passed away May 14, 2013, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 4, 1967, in Gaston County, daughter of Reola Hale Hoyle and the late Gerald Fletcher.
Gayle graduated from Hunter Huss High in 1985, CPCC and UNCC . She worked for Robert Whitt as paralegal and kept books for Bolin Ma-chine.
Gayle is survived by her father and mother, Bob and Reola Hoyle, brothers Dean Fletcher; Chris Hoyle; sister, Dana Bumgarner; sister and brother-in-law Libby and Eric Riley, nieces and nephews, Hunter and Taylor Bumgarner; Parker and Piper Riley; and special friend, Don Bolin, all of Gastonia.
In addition to her paternal father, Gerald Fletcher, Gayle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Beulah and John Hale and Josephine and Paul Fletcher.
A service to celebrate Gayle's life will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday at First ARP Church, Gastonia, with the Rev. Matt Kuiken officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church parlor.
Interment will be held privately.
