STANLEY - Gladys Huffstetler Lowe, 90, died June 26, 2013, at Belaire Health Care Center in Gastonia.

She was born in Cramerton; daughter of the late Frank and Carrie Johnson Huffstetler, and was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Leonard Jackson Lowe, two brothers Ralph and Greeley Huffstetler, and three sisters Zelma Wallace, Willie Farmer, and Georgia Cornelius.

She was a longtime member of Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher and member of the choir, and retired from J.P. Stevens in Stanley after 40 years of service.

Survivors include a son Tim Lowe and wife Debbie of Gastonia, grandchildren Ande, Amy and Todd Lowe, great grandchildren Maddie and Jackson Lowe, and two sisters Ruby McFall of Murrells Inlet, SC, and Lucy "Tunie" Smith of Atlanta, Ga.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Friday with the funeral service to begin at 3 p.m at Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Dr. Danny Penny and the Rev. Bob McMinn officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Gardens.
