LINCOLNTON - Helen Ruth Izard Ross, 70, of 221 Mauney Drive, transitioned on June 26, 2012, at CMC-Lincoln.
She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 3, 1942, daughter of the late James Izard and Louisa Huff Izard.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday at Hinton Memorial United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
The family will be at 860 Car Farm Road, Lincolnton.
