GASTONIA - Howard "Chuck" Davis Jr., 54, went to be with God on Oct.20, 2012.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Gaston Memorial Park with the Rev. Tom Whidden officiating.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Lee Davis.
He is survived by his loving mother and caretaker, Barbara Ray Davis; sister, Dawn Benson; special aunts, Kay Hammonds and Betty Whidden; and friends, Ruth Caulder, Tammy Coker and Charlene Grindle.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia is serving the Davis family.
