She remained in Chapel Hill until her final years, at which time she moved to Gastonia to be closer to her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. She was an artist, an accomplished photographer, a gar-dener, an animal lover and a devoted Grandmother. She lives on in our hearts and in our memories.
