SHELBY - Joyce McGinnis Bowman, 73, went to be with her heavenly father on June 25, 2012, at Hospice Cleveland County Wendover.
A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Edwin and Thelma Grace Horton McGinnis.
A celebration of life service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday at Eastside Baptist Church.
Burial will be at Ross Grove Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 6 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
At other times the family will be at the home.
Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family of Mrs. Bowman.
