MOUNT HOLLY - Joyce Tench Watts, 66, of 112 Forestway Drive, died Friday, June 8, 2012.
She was daughter of the late Hubert Columbus and Rachel Caroline Duncan Tench.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Kaye Moore and was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lamar Watts; children, Renee Furr and husband Rodney, Lamar Watts and Crystal Wooten, all of Mount Holly; one brother, Steve Tench of Stanley; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Watts will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, at the Second Baptist Church, Mount Holly with the Rev. Bruce Bradley officiating.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the Second Baptist Church, 740 Rankin Ave., Mount Holly, NC 28120. Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly is serving the Watts family.
