GASTONIA - Lottie Etters, 89, passed away June 20, 2012 at her home.
She was born May 3, 1923 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Smiley Bruce and Laura Banks Campbell.
Mrs. Etters was a member of Garver Memorial Baptist Church, Gastonia. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff of Gaston Hospice and especially, Cindy, Betty and Tammy for their care of Mrs. Etters
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Long Creek Cemetery, Dallas, officiated by Pastor David Stewart.
The family will visit with friends after the graveside service at the cemetery.
She is survived by: niece, Sylvia Queen and husband, Earl of Gastonia; great niece, Sandra Queen of Gastonia; great-nephews, David, Christopher and Zachary and Michael Queen of Gastonia; great-great-nieces and nephews, Megan Tyler, Destiny Queen, Joey Queen; goddaughter, Yvonne Tucker of Georgia; caretaker, Jessica Padgett.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her sister, Ethel McAlpin.
