MOORESVILLE - Marion Joyce Trivett, 71, of West Park Ave., passed away June 25, 2012, at Gordon Hospice House, Statesville.
Born June 2, 1941, in Newry, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Joe Ted and Mary Helen Tompkins Watson.
Mrs. Trivett formerly worked at Draymore Mfg. for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roby Junior Trivett; brothers, Charles and Donnie Watson; and sister, Mildred Ellis.
Mrs. Trivett is sur-vived by her sons, Randy Helms and wife, Cynthia, and Scott Helms and wife, Melinda; daughters, Lori Watkins and husband, David, and Cathy Bailey; sister, Jeannette Thompson; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Park Avenue United Methodist Church, Mooresville, with the Rev. H. R. Compton officiating.
Burial will follow in Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
