HIGH POINT - Mary Easter Gunning Burris, 81, 509 E. Lexington Ave., High Point, formerly of Gastonia, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at West-chester Manor Nursing Home, High Point.
A native of Gaston County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Gunning and Odessa Barnett Gunning Smith.
The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Gastonia.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the church.
Burial will be at Armstrong Cemetery.
Costner Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.
