GASTONIA - Matthew "Matt" Evans, 24, of Gastonia, passed away June 13, 2012.
He was born Aug. 3, 1987, in Gaston County, son of Steve Evans and Donna Screws.
A funeral service will be 4 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012, at Yorkwood Church of God, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Joel Shirley, the Pastor Rev. Bobby Smith and Pastor Chris Kennedy.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia.
Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
