CRAMERTON – Max Albert Presswood, 76, of Cramerton, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born in Murphy and was the son of the late Hubert Rhyne Presswood and Jeanette Hunsucker Presswood.
Max was a former member of the Cramerton Volunteer Fire Department, former policeman with the Town of Cramerton, former employee of the Town of Cramerton Maintenance Department. He retired from Morgan Shoes and Bootery.
Max was a member and Deacon at Riverside Baptist Church, Cramerton.
Max is survived by two sisters, Joan Carter (Bob) of Gainesville, Georgia, Trish Human (David) of Gastonia; one brother, Hubert Presswood (Jean) of Archdale; nieces and nephews, Todd, Amy, Cathy, Carroll, Angela, Jason.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Garden of Time Section of Gaston Memorial Park with Pastor Allen Lefler and Pastor Junior Morris officiating. The family will receive friends after the graveside service at Gaston Memorial Park.
