SHALLOTTE - Nancy Iola Nichols Plummer, 77, died peacefully and went to her family and Lord on Feb. 23, 2013, at New

She was born Feb. 8, 1936, in Belmont, daughter of the late Edna and Paul Nichols.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jerry F. Plummer in 2010.
Mrs. Plummer retired after 35 years as an administrative assistant with the Gaston County Health Department.
Surviving are her daughters, Elaine Plummer, of Shallotte, and Patricia Cobb, of Cumming, Ga.; brother, Fred Nichols (Gloria), of
Iron Station; and three grandchildren, Justin, Kaitlin, and Lauren Cobb.
A celebration of life will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday in Shallotte Presbyterian Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. John Causey.
Family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Inurnment will then follow in the Brunswick Memorial Gardens Columbarium.
The family would like to thank the staff of 3rd floor dialysis unit at New Hanover for the care they gave Nancy over the years and the Davita Di-alysis Unit of Shallotte.
