GASTONIA - Patricia Popwell Caudle, 67, passed away after a brief illness Friday, June 15, 2012.
She was born Jan. 19, 1945, in Mecklenburg County to the late Raymond and Helen (Woods) Popwell.
Patricia is survived by her son, Robert E. Caldwell Jr., and his wife, Rebecca, of Gastonia; granddaughter, Melissa Browning, and husband, Nick, of Hickory Grove, S.C.; great-granddaughter, Bailey Moody; brothers, Raymond Popwell Jr. and wife, Shirley, of Rock Hill, S.C., Glenn Popwell and wife, Diane, of Bessemer City, and Jimmy Popwell and wife, Kathy, of China Grove.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas K. Caudle.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2012, at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
