DALLAS - Patricia Sue Hodges, 58, of Mayberry Road, passed away July 8, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center.
A native of Eden, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Annie Hodges.
Pat was a member of Catawba Heights Baptist Church, where she was the special needs Sunday school teacher and an active volunteer in the Pure Worship Gang Special Needs Ministry.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel Boyer; niece (who was like her daughter), Molly Parker; brothers, Jim Hodges, Frank
Hodges Jr., Kenneth Hodges, Buddy Hodges, Melvin Hodges, Jerry Hodges; sisters, Elizabeth Crowe and Sallie Hartis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Parker.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Catawba Heights Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pure Worship Gang Special Needs Ministry, c/o Catawba Heights Baptist Church, 311 Belmont Mt Holly Rd, Belmont, NC 28012.
