GASTONIA - Mrs. Patricia Reynolds Hoffman, 86, of Gastonia, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Morningside Assisted Living Center.
She was a native of Richmond, Virginia, grew up in Ashville and was and the daughter of the late Joseph Reynolds and Frederica Larcombe Reynolds.
Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Friday at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia.
The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8 p.m. at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia immediately following the Rosary.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, with celebrant, Father Roger Anrsparger officiating.
Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hoffman was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
She had also been a volunteer at St. Michael's School, Pleasant Ridge Elementary and the Gaston Literacy Council.
Survivors include her sons, Joseph Kermit Hoffman and wife Karen of Frederick, MD., George Anthony Hoffman and wife Janet of Raleigh, N.C., Wil-liam Allen Hoffman and wife Nancy of Franklinton, N.C., Kenneth Lee Hoffman and wife Catherine of Denver, N.C., James Lawrence Hoffman and wife Bonnie of Gastonia, N.C., twenty two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kermit Roy Hoffman, daughter, Linda Hoffman Reilly, son-in-law, Timothy Reilly, sisters, Mary R. Grant, Joan R. Hersman, Katheleen R. Compton and Rosalee Reynolds.
