Mrs. Little was born Nov. 26, 1938, in Wilmington, to the late Norman and Myrtle Merritt. She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas K. Little; adopted mother, Nina Casteen; and a brother, Norman Merritt. Pat was a graduate of New Hanover High School in Wilmington, NC and attended Butler University in Indiana where she studied dance. She performed with the National Company of Camelot and many summer stock musical productions. As a baby, Pat was featured in Ripley's Believe It or Not, with her father, as a stunt performer. Pat moved from New York City with her former husband, Don McIntosh and opened the McIntosh School of Dance in Mount Holly. Pat was also the co-owner of Bella Rosetti's Home Interiors in Gastonia as well as an active member of Harvest Church in Charlotte.
She is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Rosetti and husband Rick, and Teresa McIntosh; three stepsons, Brad Little, Todd Little, and Kearns Little; her first husband, Don McIntosh; her brother, Bobby Merritt; five grandchildren; several step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life service for Mrs. Little will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Harvest Church, 7429 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC 28214.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Memorials may be made to Harvest Church, 7429 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC 28214 for the construction of an on-site columbarium, a project that when completed will fulfill the dream of Doug and Patricia Little.
