GASTONIA - Parrilee Parker, 80, passed away April 29, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 3, 1931, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Homer and Cynthia Burch May.
She was a member of True Vine Church of God, Gastonia.
A funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Richard Wil-liams.
The family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
A private interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.
She is survived by: sons, Richard Parker, Melvin Parker; daughters, Barbara Bush, Wanda Parker; brothers, James "Jimmy" May, Charles "Tooker" May; sisters, Francis Groves Bentley, Clara Sue Biddix; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and all the "adopted" chil-dren that she came to know and love.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: two brothers.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
