MOUNT HOLLY - Princess Reid Smith, 53, of 901 Fairview Drive, died June 20, 2012, at her residence.
She was a native of Gaston County and the daughter of Dorothy Gardner and the late Franklin Reid.
She is survived by her husband, Memphis Smith of the home; one son, Shannon Reid; her mother, Dorothy Gardner; sisters, Sabrina Reid and An-nette Reid both of Mt. Holly, LaKeysha Reid of S.C. and Sarah Baker of Gastonia; brothers, Phillip Reid of Albermarle, and Timothy Reid of Mt. Holly and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held noon Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church, Mt. Holly.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
Interment will be at West Creek Cemetery, Mt. Holly.
