KINGS MOUNTAIN - Rhonda Kay Hope Lutz, 78, of Kings Mountain, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 12, 2012, at Peak Resources.
She was born Dec.15, 1933, in Cleveland County to the late Milton and Clytie Sneed Hope.
Rhonda was a member of Family Worship Center, Kings Mountain. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will live forever in their hearts.
She is survived her daughters, Clytie Smith and husband, Tony, and Lana Bynum and husband, Steve, all of Gastonia; sister, Joyce Guffey and husband, Harold, of Gastonia; grandchildren, Danny Robinson and wife, Kelly, Dustin Robinson and wife, Jeanie, and Vance Whitted and wife, Dawn; great-grandchildren, Becca, Jordyn and Dannah Robinson, and Kaylynn, Luke, Elijah and Samuel Whitted.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Albert Gene Lutz; brother, Milton Hope Jr.; and sister, Dorothy Hayes.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday at Family Worship Center, Kings Mountain with Pastor Roger Woodard officiating.
Interment will follow in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon at the church.
