CHERRYVILLE - Richard Eugene "Rick" Lankford, 63, of West Fourth Street, died Oct. 23, 2012, at Kings Mountain Hospice House.
Rick was born in Cleveland County on June 22, 1949, son of the late Willie Robert Lankford Sr. and Betty Jean Suttle Lankford.
A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday at Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter's Funeral Home.
Burial arrangement will be private.
The family will receive friends from noon to 12:45 p.m. prior to the memorial service.
