YORK, S.C. - Robert "Bob" William Currence, 79, of 1919 Lincoln Road, died June 14, 2012, at CMC Pineville.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Filbert Presbyterian Church in America with the Revs. Wallace Tinsley and Dave Hall officiating.
The family will receive friends 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the church fellowship hall.
Bob was a son of the late Pressley and Lib Moss Currence. He was the widower of Jeanette Youngblood Currence, worked at
Rock Hill Printing and Finishing, and was a farmer. Bob was also a member of Filbert Presbyterian Church in America and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two daughters, Beth Evans and husband Kevin of Gastonia, Robin Currence of York, and many beloved relatives and friends.
