DALLAS - Roger Lee Rice, 63, passed away June 20, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 30, 1948, in Madison County, to the late Oliver and Roberta Rogers Rice.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of A Simple Service, 451 Hospital Drive, Gastonia.
