EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Ruby L. Crank, formerly of Salem Drive in Gastonia, died Nov. 13, 2012, at the Eastgate Nursing and
Recovery Center in East Providence, R.I.

She was the wife of the late Paul Crank.

Ruby was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a longtime member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Gastonia, where she serviced on the choir and was involved with the Seniors Ministry. Ruby loved to help people and loved to dance. She will always be remembered for actively par-ticipating along with her husband Paul, with planning various events for the Highland High School class of '66 reunions. She was an awesome cook, known for her fish fries and chicken dinners, Christmas parties and any
occasion to just get together.

Paul and his Lady Ruby are celebrating her birthday dancing together in Heaven.

Born in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina she was a daughter of the late Albert and Daisy (Reeves) Williams.

She leaves one daughter, Jocelyn C. Fortes of Providence; three sisters, Helen Hannah of Philadelphia, Lena Dyer of Cranston and Harriet Hall of New York.

She was sister of the late Jeanette Littlejohn, Elizabeth Baker and Albert Williams, Jr. Ruby also leaves three sisters-in-law, two
brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
