BESSEMER CITY - Ruby Mae Lomick Erby, 67, 5535 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy., died June 3, 2012, at home.
A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Roseboro Lomick Sr. and Clemus Harris Lomick.
The funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Bessemer City.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Burial will be at Wesley's Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery.
Surivivors include her husband, Larry Erby Sr.; daughters, Catrina Johnson (Gerard) and Lenora Erby; sons, Defay Lomick
(Laverne), Larry Erby Jr. (Lori) and Christopher Goode; sisters, Rebecca Lomick, Rosetta Tinsley (Thomas), Rachel Floyd (Joe), and Rosa Feemster (Samuel); brothers: Roseboro Lomick Jr. (Louise), Roger Lomick (Gwendolyn) and Roy Lomick; 14 grand-children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Costner Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.
