MURPHY - Ruth K. Blundell, 82, passed away Oct. 18, 2012, at Hospice of Chattanooga.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn Williamson (Roger), Marilyn Tate (Randy), Donna Monroe (Red), David Bayless, Joyce Guthrie, Sandra Chastain (Ronnie), Billie Jo Stover (Alan), Barbara Baker (Mike); two brothers; two sisters; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Sarah Kiggans; and three brothers.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church in Dallas with the Rev. Jim Shaw officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
