CHARLOTTE - Sandra Kay Crisp Johnston, 66, passed away peacefully on Nov. 24, 2012, at her home.

She was a native of Gaston County, born Nov. 26, 1945, to the late Jack O. and Sarah Walters Crisp
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack O. Crisp who died in 1993 and Sarah Walters Crisp, who died in 2011.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Johnston, whose devotion in her final days was unrivaled, her precious felines Tinker Bell, Max and Moochie, sis-ters Betty Anne Cloninger and husband Scott, Cathy Moose and husband Boyd, brothers Joe Crisp and wife Dianna and Olin Crisp and wife Emily, also she had many Nieces and Nephews.
We admired our big sister. Sandra was the most intelligent person you could meet. She had a rare gift of being able to talk to anyone about any sub-ject. She will be missed
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Long Creek Cemetery in Dallas with the Rev. James Drennan officiating.
Flowers should be delivered to the home of Olin and Emily Crisp at 1121 East Main St., Dallas.
