DALLAS - Thelma Ferguson Rhyne, 92, passed away June 25, 2012, at Kindred Care & Rehab., Gastonia.
She was born Dec. 22, 1919, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Zeb and Myrtle Jones Ferguson.
Mrs. Rhyne was a member of Love Memorial Baptist Church, Gastonia.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Love Memorial Baptist Church, Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. George Quick.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to the service on Friday at the church.
Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.
She is survived by: a son, Barry Rhyne and wife, Karen of Dallas; brothers, James Ferguson of Dallas, Blain Ferguson of Gastonia; sister, Mildred Moore of Gastonia; grandchildren, Beth Rhyne Keesler, Kelly Rhyne, Kevin Rhyne, David Rhyne; great grandchildren, Sara Keesler, Kelly Rhyne, Brittany Rhyne.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband of 60 years, Fred W. Rhyne; brother, Blair Fer-guson.
Memorials may be made to Love Memorial Baptist Church, 311 E. Walnut Ave., Gastonia, NC 28054.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
