KINGS MOUNTAIN - Vivian McClain, 65, of 300 Branchwood Circle, was born May 26, 1947, to the late Mack and Mary Jordan and peacefully departed this life on May 4, 2013, at Kings Mountain Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

Vivian was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Victoria Grace McClain; four sisters, Mrs. Jessie Mae Gill, Mrs. Nancy Foster,
Mrs. Mary Lee Washington, Mrs. Shirley A. McCluney; and one brother, Mr. John Paul Jordan. She leaves to cherish fond memories a dedicated husband of forty-four years, Rev. James H. McClain. She is survived by three sons: Derik Jordan (Rhonda),
Darrin McClain (Bobbi), and Joe McClain (Zeppora) all of Kings Mountain, NC; four sisters: Ms. Flonnie Jordan, Ms. Jean Bell,
Mrs. Sylvia Ross (Rudolph-Deceased) and Ms. Norma Black all of Kings Mountain, NC; five brothers: Mr. James E. Jordan of Charlotte NC, Mr. Samuel W. Jordan (Lorna), Mr. Thur-man Jordan of Gastonia, NC, Mr. Walter C. Jordan and Mr. Keith A. Jordan (Fae) of Kings Mountain, NC; sister-in-laws, Mrs. Betty H. Jordan and Ms. Nancy Foreman; brothers-in-law, Mr. Joe McClain and Mr. Alfred Ash (Connie). In addition, nine grandchildren include Ashley Spratt, Shaunca Starks, Denequal Brown, Marlesia Jordan, Brian Byrd, Derik Jordan Jr., Tyla McClain, Jeremiah Jordan, and Karsyn McClain; seven great-grandchildren: Kinsley Byrd, Zavian Smith, Chris McIntosh, Nevaeh Spratt, Nariah Spratt, D'maia Nichols and Zariona McNeil and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The homegoing service will be held Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Ebenezer Baptist Church located at 1621 County Line Road, Kings
Mountain. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. and the funeral service will begin at 3 p.m.
