William Guay Ramsey, 69, passed away peacefully Oct. 8, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Gaston County, born July 26, 1943.
Guay was U.S. Army veteran.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., Oct. 10, 2012, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Laura Meek Ramsey; three daughters; a son-in-law; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
