STANLEY - Zelma Smith Bingham, 75, of 521 Summerow Road, died Jan. 23, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Buford and Essie Smith, and was preceded in death by a brother Paul Smith.

She was a member of the Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband of over 56 years Bobby V. Bingham, a son John Bingham and wife Betty of Stanley, a daughter Janice Bailey and hus-band John of Salisbury, 4 grandchildren Quincy Long, Misty Gomez, Brittany and Anna Bingham, a brother
Floyd Smith and wife Christine of Stanley, a sister Ruth Caldwell and husband Don of Stanley.

Funeral service conducted by the Rev. Dr. Danny Penny will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church.

The family will receive friends 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the church prior to the funeral service.

Interment will follow the service in Hillcrest Gardens.

Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly is serving the family of Mrs. Bingham.
