GASTONIA - Lenwood Earl Ham Sr., 74, passed away Feb. 23, 2014, at home.

He was born in Kinston, son of the late Johnny and Estelle Wagoner Ham.
Lenwood was the owner-operator of L.E. Ham Painting Co. Inc. He was an avid gardener. Lenwood was a loving husband, father, grandfa-ther and great grandfather who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife, Annie Hemby Ham; son, Lenwood E. Ham, Jr.; daughters, Wendy Ham Chapman and husband Marshall, Angel Ham Nolen and husband Kyle; brothers, Richard Ham and wife Maggie, Robert Ham and wife Lena; sisters, Dorothy Andrews and hus-band Doodle, Dolly Andrews, Linda Rackley and husband Bernie, Dean Bradshaw and husband Micky; grandchildren, Christopher Dagnen, Kasey Dorsey, Devin Valentine, D.J. Ham, Lilly Nolen, Levi Nolen and great grandchildren, Katie Dorsey and Nathan Dagnen.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia.
A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Founders Chapel with the Rev. John Smith officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Gardens, Mt. Holly.
