BESSEMER CITY -- Paul Pasour, 85, passed away March 8, 2014 at the Kings Mountain Hospice House, Kings Mountain.

He was born Nov. 1, 1928 in Gaston County son of the late Walter Lloyd and Audrey Louise Kiser Pasour.
A service to celebrate the life of Paul Pasour will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday March 12, at Antioch Lutheran Church, 330 Old 277 Loop Rd. Dallas, NC 28034 officiated by Pastor George Rhyne.
The family will receive friends from 6–8 p.m. in the Parrish Hall at the church Tuesday, March 11.
Interment will be held at Antioch Lutheran Church Cemetery. Mr. Pasour was a lifelong member of Antioch Lutheran Church, Gaston Lodge # 263 AF&AM in Dallas and Ag Center Fire Department. He worked at Lewis Well Boring Inc. for many years where he was a partner in the business.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Pauline Tate Pasour; son, Aaron Walter Pasour; daughter, Lisa Childers and husband Tony; sisters, Ruth Schrum of Vale, Louise Grigg of Bessemer City, Joan Helms of Shelby; grandchildren, Jonathan Childers of Charlotte, Katie Childers of Bes-semer City; Lee Pasour of Lincolnton; great grandchild, Kendall Pasour.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: his son, Richard Lewis Pasour; brother, Clyde K. Pasour.
