DALLAS – Teresa Anderson Payne, 61, died Sunday, March 16, 2014.
She was born in Gaston County daughter of the late Martin Eugene Anderson and Doris Shelton Anderson Grindstaff.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Anderson. Mrs. Payne was a member of Community Baptist Church of Dallas and enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family and especially her grandsons, whom she dearly loved. She is survived by her husband, Robert Payne; two daughters, Michelle Payne Hersey and husband Ronnie of Dallas and Amanda Payne Beaty and husband Chad of Dallas; a son, David Ray Payne and wife Kathy of York, SC; a sister, Carol Anderson Beasley and husband Gerald of Robbinsville, NC; a brother, Billy Keith Anderson and wife Rhonda also of Robbinsville, NC; and three grandsons, Nickalas Payne, Robbie Hersey, and Sawyer Beaty.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Payne will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Community Baptist Church of Dallas with Reverend Matthew Seagle and Pastor Larry Nunn officiating. Burial will follow at Alexis Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Community Baptist Church.
