GASTONIA - Etta Elizabeth Holloway Bollinger, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2014.

Born in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Columbus Holloway and Etta Elizabeth Angley Holloway. Mrs. Bollinger was a cosmetologist and the owner and operator of Ginger's Beauty Shop in Dallas.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bollinger is preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Parks Bollinger; her Aunt, Annie Mae Holloway, who raised Etta after the unexpected death of her mother; a number of brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Bollinger is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Carl Stowe of Gastonia; grandchildren and spouse, Kelly and Eric Boggs of Durham, and Erin Stowe of Charlotte; great-grandchildren, Thomas Boggs and Catherine Etta Boggs.
Family and friends of Mrs. Bollinger are invited to attend her visitation beginning at 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, March 31, at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia with her funeral service to follow at 2:30 p.m. from the graveside at Hollywood Cemetery.
