BESSEMER CITY - Annie Mae Bogar Tiday, 86, passed away May 29, 2014, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born Sept. 14, 1927, in Cabarrus County, to the late Floyd and Sarah Elizabeth Carter Bogar.
Annie was a member of Dallas Church of God.
She is survived by her son, Harvey R. "Ducky" Tiday of Bessemer City; daughters, Mary Lou Smith and Elizabeth Tiday both of Colstrip, Montana; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Tiday; daughter, Shelby Jean Tiday Morri-son.
Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dallas Church of God with the Rev. D. R. Shortridge officiating.
Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City.
