MOUNT HOLLY - William Charles ("Charlie B") Grant, 67, of 803 Running Cedar Lane, died Friday, Aug. 1, 2014.

He was born in Richmond County, son of Edith Hollingsworth Grant and the late Woodrow Grant. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jean Steen. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and racing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Patty Toler and husband, Kent, of Iron Sta-tion; grandchildren, Brandon, Lynn and Brian Toler; great-grandchildren, Xavier, Xara and Brystyl; his brother, Ben Grant of Rockingham.; and his nieces, Beth, Edie and Jean.

A service to celebrate the life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at the True Gospel Interde-nominational Church, Stanley, with Pastor Randy Sutherland and Mrs. Patty Toler officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Church.
