GASTONIA - Timothy Jackson Hopper, 50, passed away Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014.

A native of Norfolk, Va., he was the son of Bill Hopper and the late Jean Worrells Hopper.
Tim was employed at the Dollar Store as Manager. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed the outdoors and adored the love of his life, his daughter, Mundy. Tim was a loving father, son and brother who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his daughter, Mundy Hopper; father, Bill Hopper; twin brother, Tom; three sisters, Patti, Cindi, Terri and a number of cousins.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia Founders Chapel, with the Rev. Dave Stanford officiating. Interment will follow in Gaston Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia.
