GASTONIA - Bonnie Almond Mullinax, 85, of Oak Hollow Road, died Jan. 27, 2011 at Alexandria Place.

A native of Murphy, she was the daughter of the late William and Della Almond.
Mrs. Mullinax was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She retired from Ti-Caro and was a professional cake decorator.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Bradshaw and husband, Coy; granddaughters, Kelly Stanforth and husband, Trent, Jennifer
BonnieShelley and hus-band, Michael; great grandchildren, Triston, Logan and Caroline Shelley; two brothers, Ralph and Roy Almond; numerous nieces and nephews; special grandniece, Landon Crowder; and many friends and employees of Alexandria Place, that loved and cared for her over the last couple years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Jay Mullinax; brothers, Frank, Bill and Johnny Almond; sisters, Helen Moody and Juanita Cook.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia with Pastors Paul Brown and Jerry Mill-wood officiating.
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
